Our Training

The Centre for Family Literacy supports the development of family literacy across the province through training, development of resources, promotion, awareness, and research.

The Centre has trained thousands in the practice of family literacy across the country. Through experience, research and collaboration, the Centre has developed a logic model and standards of excellence that are shared with others in the field. Practitioners are encouraged to use these standards for their own programs and as a tool to evaluate program effectiveness.

Webinar: Conducting Adult Learner Assessments Online

The Centre for Family Literacy was one of many organizations forced to move our programs online and start working from home. In the adult learning program, this posed an interesting dilemma. How do we move Adult Learner Assessments from in-person to online?

This one hour lunch and learn will cover how to do registration, intake, and learner assessment using the phone, Google docs, and other online tools.

Wednesday, April 7, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
