“I can still remember the thrill of walking into the Book Mobile as a child and learning that everything was there for me to borrow. Each week became an exciting hunt for my next armload of treasures. Literacy is the foundation upon which a successful life is built – every child and family deserves that opportunity. That is why I support the Centre.”

Where it all Started

Including the Centre for Family Literacy in your estate plans with a future gift through a bequest, life insurance or trust arrangement is an effective way of continuing to support our work.

We have established an endowment fund at the Edmonton Community Foundation that allows us to take advantage of the Foundation’s endowment expertise. Gifts to endowment funds are invested in perpetuity, and only a portion of the investment income is used to fund our programs each year.
