”An Evening of Wine & Words”, presented by Richardson Wealth, is the premier fundraising event for the Centre for Family Literacy and Edmonton’s can’t-miss concert of the year. We’re excited to share all the details of our 2025 event, featuring a sensational program and the return of a crowd favourite—Jim Cuddy.
The 18th Annual ”An Evening of Wine & Words” will be hosted at the JW Marriott Hotel (Edmonton ICE District) on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Guests will enjoy a first-class concert from Jim Cuddy, one of Canada’s most influential performers, along with a very special guest. The hallmark of this event is the intimate setting which will be maintained throughout this unique and special evening. Since its inception, the event has seen a variety of award-winning guest performers, including Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk, Corb Lund, Martin Kerr, Greg Keelor, Kathleen Edwards, Luke Doucet, Melissa McClelland, Danny Michel, Jeremy Fisher, and Barney Bentall.
Proceeds from the evening support the Centre’s adult and family literacy programs. In the last seventeen years, the event has raised more than $1.3M for these programs.
