An Evening of Wine & Words, presented by Richardson Wealth, is the premier fundraising event for the Centre for Family Literacy and Edmonton’s can’t-miss concert of the year. This unique event mixes elegance with fun to create an unforgettable evening.
The event will be hosted in person at the JW Marriott (Edmonton ICE District) on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Guests will enjoy a first-class concert from one of Canada’s most influential cultural couples – Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk. The hallmark of this event is the intimate setting which will be maintained throughout this unique and special evening.
Since its inception, An Evening of Wine and Words has seen a variety of award-winning guest performers, including Corb Lund, Jim Cuddy, Martin Kerr, Greg Keelor, Kathleen Edwards, Luke Doucet, Melissa McClelland, Danny Michel, Jeremy Fisher, and Barney Bentall.
The 2023 program of Wine and Words will feature Raine and Chantal and guests in a songwriter circle format. They will explore the power of words through heartfelt songs and stories.
Proceeds from the evening support the Centre’s literacy programs. In the last sixteen years, the event has raised more than $1.1M for these programs.
