Celebrate National Family Literacy day by joining the Centre on Sunday, January 29th at our 11th annual Family Literacy Carnival! The event will take place from 1:00–4:00 at MacEwan Universities City Centre Campus in Building 6, Main floor cafeteria (Clocktower Entrance).
Follow a story walk along different activity stations built around literacy including music, play, STEAM, and more. There will be book giveaways and special guests who will read their favourite books. This event is FREE!
Family Literacy Day was created to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. Literacy weaves through all aspects of family and community life. Over 700,000 adult Albertans struggle with literacy. Let’s change those statistics!
