Lois Hole Memorial Literacy Awards
The Lois Hole Memorial Literacy Awards were established in memory of Dr. Lois E. Hole, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta (2000 – 2005).
Mrs. Hole was a strong advocate for literacy. Whether reading to a lively group of children or making a passionate speech to leaders of our province or nation, Mrs. Hole championed literacy and education.
In keeping with Mrs. Holes passion, we present annual awards in three categories.
